Brooklyn-based Midnight Spin has garnered comparisons to the Killers, Strokes, and Queens of the Stone Age. This five-piece rock outfit is making waves in the music world. Their album Through the Mojo Wire which is self-released and produced by Nic Hard (The Bravery), is being received with rave revues.

The single "In the Air (Revival)" has been featured on ESPN's Mike and Mike in the Morning, they were also recently named NYC's Best Emerging Artist of 2009 in the Deli Magazine's reader's poll. Also their follow-up hit "Trigger Finger Itch" was featured on the cover-mount CD for the March 2010 issue of Classic Rock Magazine in the UK. Citizen Cope

Citizen Cope aka Clarence Greenwood is an individual who looks for the deeper meaning in life and his surroundings. You can see this reflected in his lyrics which are an expression of who he is and what goes on around him. With his newest album The Rain Water, he ended up self-releasing it after the record companies wanted to give it a bit of a nip and tuck and change it to their specifications. I’ve heard the album and I’ve seen the cover art, I don’t know what these people thought needed to be different on Cope’s new album but I believe it would have lost some of its essence had he went that way. The name of the album has a deeper personal meaning for Cope. “It’s pure,” he says. “It’s also the name of someone that was close to me when I was growing up, so it just makes sense.”
