Caw! Caw! Hmm... so their name is the sound that a crow makes. Wait! The Crow is one of my favorite movies! I think that my thought train has derailed a bit here...
Caw! Caw! are four friends who went to a "nerdy" high school on the North side of Chicago their forthcoming debut LP is Bummer Palace which will be released on May 25th. They have one prior release to the debut LP which is an EP that they released in 2008 called Wait Outside. Band memebers are Steve Kozak on guitar and keyboards, Tim Tsurutani on vocals and guitar, Evan Burrows on drums, and Dan Rico on bass and vocals.
So what do they sound like? It's a swirled world of eccentric indie-pop with crafty musicianship that explores their artistic vision and rocks out! Check out their song "Toothless" below.
