On Tuesday night I headed out to Club Bart in Ferndale, MI. I wanted to check out this band I'd been hearing about called Bixy Lutz. They did not disappoint, their style of music has got a delta blues, country groove, rock n' roll feel. The three piece band is fronted by Greg Hanson who sings lead vocals and plays guitar, LX is on bass and vocals, and Don rocks out on the drums. They have the look of a 70s style rock band that you can't help being attracted to. They will be joining Brandon Calhoon to play at Ty Stone's Thanksgiving Rockin' Eve at St. Andrews Hall on Wednesday November 25th at 8pm. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door.
